How will a live-in caregiver help?
As a SCS Homecare carer, duties are very much determined by the needs of the client.
Among their tasks, our carers assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting, household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping, and to generally try to make their client’s life as enjoyable as possible. It can even include walking the dog and caring for the beloved pet.
As a result, our live-in carers are always there to provide companionship and peace of mind; we are proud of how compassionately our carers care for our clients like they would a member of our own families.

A live-in care service may include:
- Companionship
Providing company during holidays, day trips and short breaks, encouraging contact with friends and family, helping to read and keep up correspondence.
- Personal care
Support with dressing and undressing, bathing and shaving, hair and makeup care, nail care, continence care, and prescription medication management.
- Help around the house
Providing cleaning, changing bed linens and towels, laundry and ironing, weekly grocery shopping, meal preparation and financial management.
